Dental bleaching at a dental clinic Self-dental bleaching
Dental bleaching at a dental clinic When your teeth's color has changed much, you need a special treatment with plasma arc, laser, heat light and chemicals which common people can't deal with at a dental clinic. If you do it with self-bleaching, the effect is maximized. It takes about a week, and you need to visit a clinic 2-3 times every 2-3 days depending on color of your teeth. Procedure each time takes about 30-40 minutes
The process of dental bleaching

treating cavity & scaling (if it's required)
First, you need to have a check-up and get a treatment for cavity or tartar if you have it. Due to inflammation on the gum the whitening chemicals can stimulate it.

treating cold teeth
Before, dental bleaching could cause serious cold teeth but it has improved a lot. Still, if your teeth have a slight fracture or cervical abrasion due to wrong brushing, it needs proper treatment ahead of bleaching.

removing dental plaque

applying gum protection around teeth

applying tooth whitening products

exposing teeth under light about 30 minutes.
(the light works on whitening products and accelerates the process of bleaching)

washing off gum protection and whitening products

Self-dental bleaching You can do this procedure when your teeth's color hasn't changed much, or go along with bleaching at a dental clinic. It's convenient because you can do it yourself any time. Just bite individually customized mold with whitening products for two hours.
Caution

Within 24 hours after bleaching, don't have food or drinks with colors such as coffee or coke and don't smoke. This is necessary because protein isn't produced enough on the surface of teeth yet.

After bleaching, you might feel cold with your teeth. It's because whitening products remained on teeth is still activated, but it'll be gone in 1-2 days.

Avoid hot or cold food.

Visit a dental clinic every 6 months to get scaling and dental bleaching to keep your bright teeth.

Result of bleaching could be different individually
